About University of Nottingham
The University of Nottingham is a Russell Group research university with one of the most attractive campuses in the UK — University Park is 300 acres of parkland centred on a boating lake, and regularly wins awards for its beauty. Founded in 1881, Nottingham has broad academic strength across pharmacy, engineering, veterinary medicine, law and the humanities.
Nottingham is notable for its global campus model — it operates full campuses in China (Ningbo) and Malaysia (Semenyih), making it one of the most internationally connected UK universities. Its pharmacy department is consistently ranked #1 in the UK, and the university has strong connections to the East Midlands tech and pharmaceutical sector.
For North American students, Nottingham offers the classic English campus university experience — green, spacious, self-contained — in an affordable, historic city with excellent transport links.
